As a Personal Trainer and Health Coach, helping people meet their fitness and nutrition goals is Alicia's passion.
A retired military officer of 23 years, her overall military experience taught her how to become a leader, manager, educator, and innovator. Alicia wanted to encourage people who could not encourage themselves to stay fit and strong.
"I believe being active and eating healthy produces a longer life span. It also reduces cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, and hypertension."
Vanessa first stumbled upon yoga in 2005, and has been in love with it ever since. With a highly athletic background, including distance running, track and field , and amateur level boxing, she was instantly drawn to the immense healing aspects that yoga provides. Vanessa decided to take her practice a step further , and in 2013 completed her 200 hour yoga alliance certification with CorePower Yoga. Vanessa focuses on an alignment based practice
to create a safe space where students are invited to practice mindfulness and be curious about their bodies. Off the mat Vanessa enjoys spending time with her son, family and friends. She also enjoys the outdoors and painting.
